16 oz. can from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR.
$4.29
Hazy light banana cream pie yellow with a nice lacy white head.
Good fruity mango, papaya and grapefruit hops..not getting any rye.
Ah getting the rye in the taste..spice and bitterness..balances the delicious fruits.
Great mouth feel well carbonated but mellow and smooth at the same time.
A nice Rye IPA

From an 8 day old can. Hazy Rye IPA collaboration with Fort George. Yes please.
Straw golden colored but opaque, with a wimsy cream colored head that leaves impressive lacing.
Wow does the aroma promise something quite pleasant. Nelson, Galaxy, and Mosaic! The essential white wine and gooseberry traits of Nelson are obvious. A touch of blueberry from Mosaic, and a smorgasbord of tropical fruits from Galaxy are all well established. A slightly sugary and spicy grain influence bellows from below.
The flavor is unfortunately a bit too sweet. Sugar cookie like in fact. The tropical fruit notes are most distinguished in the flavor, and really takes a step away from the spicy and exotic wine like characteristics I was hoping for. Despite the let down, this is still one tasty brew.
A well balanced brew actually. Sweetness dominated on the front, with a clean and restrained bitter finish. A tad chalky, a tad thin, and a tad undercarbonated.
I love you Ex Novo, and I love you Fort George. This style might be all the rage right now, but with this kind of list if celebrity ingredients, I was hoping for something a bit more than another sugary fruit bomb IPA.
Cheers.
