Somehow, this is more beautiful than its predecessor. The jet black body, clean and mirroring. The espresso brown foam a shade darker, creamier looking even. It leaves a lazy ring around the glass and even tells you to savor this.
The aroma is better too. Vanilla is hardly noticed, but the coffee, mellow and smooth richens the whole thing up a notch. Charred bread, warm cola, and a hot pepper spice sandwiched between burnt brown sugar, wood and cinnamon.
Magnificent. Adjuncts? Yes. Pastry? Hell no. Roasted to the fullest. Light roast coffee, toasted bread, molasses infused with chili. Light notes of wood caress all around. Vanilla once again undetected, but damn is there some dark chocolate.
Creamy and smooth, warming and spicy. Still a bit thin despite its lack of carbonation. I can't help but continuously taking small sip after sip. I can't claim it's an easy drinker but I want more. Dark chocolate bitterness rounding out what could have been a potentially sweet experience.
KTS brought to the next level without being absurd or pretentious. Gonna be buying another bottle to age, that's for sure.
Cheers.
