Look: Slightly opaque light amber with a minimal white head that settles leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Orange-dominated citrus notes, peach, melon, strawberries, wafts of fir needles, bready malt, and fruity esters
Taste: Citrus fruits explode onto the palate, culminating with orange/fir needle notes. Warm bready malt follows with stone fruit and berries in tow. A surprisingly tangible bite in the finish (carbonation adds to this?) and medium dryness as well
Mouthfeel: Full, somewhat thick but not chewy, medium-high carbonation, spritzy and dry on the finish
Overall: I’m into it. A tasty APA with enough malt support to keep a good balance and a surprisingly strong (and of course welcome) hop presence and bite – leaning towards IPA territory. A great beer for a hop fix but with a Pale Ale-type ABV so as not to send you to the couch or have any alcohol heat in play. I dig it

Cannned 5/19/20. Poured into a Surly chalice from a 16 oz can. Pleasant nose from a dark amber-golden color pour, very clean and clear. Light head, quickly fades away. Very dry, pretty hop-forward for a PA. Not sure what to make of this one. We like Ex Novo, but this offering is off-balance, with thin body and no real malt presence.

500 ml. bottle purchased at Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem.\$3.99
Slightly hazed dark golden bodied ale with a large frothy/bubbly white head.
Aroma is old stye spruce/citrus hopping and light caramel malts.
Taste the same..spruce seems to dominate....some herbal aspects.
Mouth feel is fine maybe needs higher carbonation.
A strange one here,,traditional then not but drinkable.
