Brewed with German Pilsner & Munich malts, wheat, oats and lactose! Hopped at over 5 pounds per barrel with Citra & Azacca that provide notes of incredibly ripe juicy stone fruit.

Don't remember this beer but gave it a good rating so it must have been better than average. Must have had on tap as I don't remember the can

Another selection from the leftpaw contribution at Thanksgiving '21.
Pours a dullard beige and burnt orange. Head formation is not this beer's strong suit. While I wasn't a huge fan of the beer, I have to say the appearance is its weak spot. The aroma was relatively light on the lactose, but also the hops as well. I'm looking at this score average here not really understanding why its so high.
The taste, I dunno, it was serviceable, but just every aspect of the beer seems overrated relative to my tastes. Some light candied sugar orange, apricot and nectarine hop notes perceptible. Lacks a crisp mouth feel, feels lower carbonation like its a pastry stout. Not a lot of bitterness, so that makes sense per style. Citra hops are there, Azacca feels completely absorbed by the pastry hazy trubby feel of the beer.
Ah I'm only the second review of this beer on BA, no wonder the ratings seem out of whack. Taste was decent but every other category just seemed like it could stand a decent deal of improvement.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass after it settled down.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has balanced flavors of gooseberries and limes along with notes of lychee. Little, if any bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels amedium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England-style IPA was packed with lots of aromas and flavors from the hops but still seemed rather easy to drink.
