Mostly clear, golden yellow body; extremely dense small-bubble carbonation; thick and densely sudsy white head, very long-lasting with thick strands and rings of foam sticking to the glass. Very nice nose; light biscuit-like malt carrying a fine layer of pine resin with a hint of tropical fruit. The taste has little malt presence but does offer a nice dose of bitter pine resin and notes of orange and red grapefruit. Medium body; sharp and crisp on the palate; semi-dry feel.
A solid west coast-style India pale ale. This one may be a tad past its prime with the minimal malt flavor, but is still quite enjoyable overall.
ABV: 6.8%; pouring temperature: 45.0 ℉; canning info: 04/21/25
