Kill the Sun - Vanilla and Cinnamon

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a quarter finger, dark khaki head that slowly dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor follows, with dark toasted malt, cinnamon, light vanilla and bourbon and a touch of mocha in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Delivers exactly what it promises: a bourbon barreled stout with cinnamon and vanilla. Not too complex, but a winning combination. Not much chocolate or char, but stands on its own. Slightly sweet.
