What a pleasant surprise, both Alani and Reformation.
When I bought it from Beer Drop, Alani I feared would be too winey and too sweet. It was neither. Nicely balanced and sufficiently tart and only a touch of wine. Alani was a good companion with lunch on a hot day. Same with appetizers for dinner, as I finished the can. Unlike many Kettled Sours, Alani's tart knows its place. Moderate. I wish I had bought more.

As for Reformation being a pleasant surprise... I don't expect much from a 5 year old, but Reformation has a whole integrated philosophy about beer and its purpose in our lives. Reformation's website and videos gave me pause to ponder. Their philosophy seems a bit abstract, but I'd like to get to know it better! Big Overall Hugs. Cheers !

From a can. Rosé colored pink with a short white cap of foam. Fruity, sweet, and clean. Fruity, slightly tart, with a clean finish. Slightly creamy texture. Easy drinking sour.
