Pale yellowish brew with a slight haze and plenty of creamy foam in the wine glass. Quite fruity with that slightly unusual citrus, yuzu. Tastes like a Blonde Ale with a shot of Nehi Orange. A bit sweet. Quite fragrant and lemony in the nose.

Pleasantly sudsy on the tongue. Quite drinkable, if a little on one note. Just a slight citrus peel bitterness in the aftertaste which is welcome after the sweetness. This is apparently made in Twelve Percent's new production brewery in North Haven, CT. From the 16 oz can.

A: The beer is a bit hazy and slightly pale yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving large wisps of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of yuzu fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has moderately strong flavors of yuzu fruit.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The addition of yuzu fruit adds some nice aromas and flavors to what might normally be an ordinary lager.

Friday night virtual tasting beer 2 - poured from a can (05/04) into a small plastic taster

L: straw yellow gold, thick white head, minimal/no lacing

S: assertive yuzu aroma, not overly so/in your face/fake etc. Rather crisp and clean, with a (welcomed) sharp citrus note

T: follows the nose beautifully, nice acidic yuzu flavor on top of a clean, simple lager profile. Straightforward base does a great job of showcasing the yuzu, very drinkable

F: medium carbonation, slightly drying, light body

O: a very nice, refreshing fruit-forward lager. As the weather warms would happily drink more of these, clean and delicious
