Had on tap at BBC. TIPA that really brings back memories of sipping big beers at Russian River, Stone and Green Flash back in the day.
Gorgeous orange/red/amber pour.Crystal clear. Really just beautiful looking. No head/ no lacing. Scent takes you into the woods. Pine; wood, grass with a base biscuit.
Taste mirrors…solid West Coast TIPA. Rich Taste Cascade annd Citra; extremely well rounded. Delicious.
Only downside is that for a beer this big its so thin and light body wise. There’s nothing wrong but I expect this TIPA style to be have high alcohol but also expected a much bigger malt base to make brew a bit heavier in the mouth.
Overall a good looking tasty WC IPA.
