Had on tap at BBC. Beautiful deep dark brown/black imp stout with garnet sparks when held to light. Head retention mostly absent which not surprising with higher abv.
Nose and Taste were semi-sweet chocolate and too much sweet for me… likely malt and banana adjunct. Overall tasty but just was too much on the pastry side for me. Others may really like.
Body is rich creamy smooth, velvet but still light enough to be enjoyable not heavy handed.
