$5.99 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: I couldn't resist picking this up because of the combination of hops they've used. It's Citra, Mosaic, and Nectaron at 7% ABV. It's a cloudy golden-orange beneath a finger's width of creamy white foam. In the nose I'm mainly finding citrus, peach, and a light touch of bubble gum. On to the taste, it's very much the same. The malt is sweetish and a bit wheaty. I'm not clearly getting oats but I'm pretty sure they're there. The hops offer up tangerine, passionfruit, peach, nectarine, soft berries, bubblegum, some grassiness and spiciness, and a bit of earthiness. It's very tropical and sweetish upfront and then you get the other characteristics in the finish. There's not a lof of bitterness to it which makes it a New England style IPA in my opinion. There is a little bit of hop burn though. The body is medium but it feels a little fuller because of all the extra proteins. The carbonation is moderate as well, leaving it soft and smooth across the palate. This is a great IPA! It's not as exciting as i thought it would be in terms of hops but I really like the way the bubbles gum is coming out of the Mosaics. I'm definitely going to have to grab some more of this.

Had on tap at BBC.
Overall a reasonably tasty NEIPA.
Nice straw yellow color. No head. No lacing. Quiet hoppy nose. Nice hop flavors re Citra, Mosaic and Nectaron. A bit smooth but nothing really that full, smooth or creamy considering description of the wheat and oats use. Very drinkable and refreshing. Kinda of a NEIPA “lite”… on taste and body.
Enjoyed.
