Burnish's take on a classic German lager! Clean and malty, with notes of bread and light sweetness.

12 ounce poured into a .5L dimpled mug.
L: Clear amber pour, 2 finger antique-white head, foam backs off to a collar in 2 minutes or so.
S: White bread and hints of Noble hop to open, mineral aroma takes over.
T: Moderately sweet bread and caramel malt, just enough herbal/floral hop flavor to dry it on the back, a bit of corn flavor comes as it warms.
F: Medium-weight body, medium carbonation, lightly crisp with a soft finish, a bit tacky.
O: OK, perhaps a bit heavy for style.

Blurs the line between a Festbier and a marzen, so maybe just think of it as a Fall seasonal. Burnt orange appearance under a large off white head without much lacing. Aroma of light toast and caramel malts. Taste more focused on the malts but hops do contribute a floral, herbal edge. Clean, creamy finish. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. A thumbs up for it by making me think more before jumping to a conclusion.
