Orange, Spice and everything nice, that’s what this Saison is made of. This Saison’s complexity unfolds with each sip, revealing layers of citrus, herbs, and a touch of rusticity like the diverse terrain of the mountains.

12 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on the can or label. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a somewhat hazy dark gold color with about a couple inch off-white head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a lot of lacing. The brew smells like lemon peel, oranges, peppery spice and some bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some coriander and pear flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and has a lot of soft carbonation. Maybe a little too carbonated but it doesn't hurt the beer much at all. I liked this saison a lot, would like to try it again at some point!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This very nice saison pours a
amber tinged straw with a nice head of white foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and displays some nice light lacing.
Nose of lemon zest, white pepper, coriander, cracker, and light honey
sweet malts. Flavors show a nice depth lemon an orange zest, cracker,
white pepper, light yeast esters, honey sweet malt, coriander, subtle
clove, spicy hop notes, and light pear. Mouth feel is medium, light zippy
carbonation, and a nicely dry finish.
Overall, another great brew from one of Cincinnati's best!
Let this one warm and be rewarded.
Cheers
