A traditional inn in a resort town in beautiful Northumberland decides to takes its home brewing to the next level and open a brewhouse; which they did two years ago. I bet they brew to style very well northern English styles. I guess this because I bought their dark wheat beer and they got pretty close to a continental style.
Typically the hardest thing to get right from another tradition is the yeast. True here. But the can I drank still indicated the brewer knew how to put it all together... just the yeast of the masters was not used.
If you find this in a can or bottle or even cask, have it. I hope you will enjoy the effort as much as I.
