Where paths cross they also must meet. We invited our friends from Flounder to join us in brewing this refreshing light bodied 100% wheat ale. The grain was hand smoked over 2 days to play perfectly with classic polish hops to lay the path to a balanced outcome.

My first ever Grodziskie. Pint pour at the brewery. It pours a slightly cloudy, golden color with a thick, creamy, bright white cap and thick, elegant lacing. A very nice appearance. Its nose is earthy with wood smoke, lemon peel, and just a whiff of caramel. The unique taste offers smoky, earthy char, tonic water, and just a slight hint of bacon. There is moderate but sharp bitterness throughout. It is really pleasant drinking. The mouth feel is lite and crisp with lively carbonation, and it's very drinkable at 4.2% ABV. Overall, while I don't have the basis of comparison, I really enjoyed Crossed Paths. And kudos to Jersey Cyclone not only for brewing this obscure style but for canning it! It was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it on a hot, late summer day.
