Poured from 16oz can into my Bell’s tulip. No date on can that I could see.
Appearance: pale yellow hue with a pretty heavy haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: aromas are fruity right up front, with some tropical passionfruit as well as some berry-like aromas. I’m also getting a little big of a fruity bubblegum vibe here. I … think I quite like it!
Taste: moderately sweet with more of that fruity flavor, and although it retains some of that bubblegum quality, there’s also a more grassy, herbal flavor here. It’s not bad, but it is kinda weird! I like it, though.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: what a strange brew this is. There aren’t really any rules for a “hazy pale ale” … I like the fruitiness, but the bubblegum is a bit odd. Interesting beer!
