Tall can, packaged 7/20/23
Pours out with a medium haze, gauzy cap and minor lacing left on the glass.
Bright sniff infused with minty freshness.
On the palate its more mint and ripe tropical notes with melon, mango and apricots coming to mind.
Easy drinking and quite enjoyable creation...worth a try.

It’s early July and time for my usual trek to the St. Lawrence. A recent tradition in the past few years has included a stop at Desantis Meat Market and the Adirondack Discount Beverage Center for lunch and a pack of local beer. This year I finally found this delicious IPA that I had consumed once before we started the page. Frog Alley has created a delightfully balanced NEIPA. It’s not a juice banger, but has slight hints of the tropics. It also nicly incorporates that piney feel with a bit more malt than you would expect in this style. It’s crispy and refreshing, not a slogy sludge. It’s leans towards the Heady Toper / Sip of Sunshine spectrum of NEIPA rather than the opaque Treehouse type. I love both styles and this is a great rendition.
