Nice solid American IPA. Crisp Amma quite refreshing with smooth and somewhat creamy carbonation. Light sweet malt, firm but not over the top Centennial and Citra finish. Easy drinking and very crushable.

a centennial and citra hopped ipa from what i understand, my first beer from these guys, never even heard of them before this one to be honest, are they new? either way, the beer is pretty decent, maybe not good or unique enough to stand out regionally, but up in the north country where there isnt a whole ton of stuff happening in new york, this was a welcomed something new. paler in color and with only moderate bitterness, its a wide appeal kind of ipa, that leaves some malt sweetness in tact, seemingly on purpose, and has a relatively clean fermentation profile, at least to the extent that it tastes and feels like its been made by someone who knows what they are doing. i had this with a meatball sandwich, an odd combination maybe, but there was some synergy between the sweet of the beer and the acidity of the marinara, as well as of the malts and the bread roll, worked well actually. i think the citra and centennial are on pretty equal footing, maybe i smell more citra and taste more centennial, but behind a little bit of leafy greenness, there are soft lemon, grapefruit, and woodsy pine notes. lighter in body but a little longer linger than a lot of them have, a touch flat too, still a pretty easy beer to drink down though, and somewhat summery as they go. i enjoyed this, and will look for more of their stuff when i am back in the area. a good surprise.
