I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a straight-sided glass.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a thick finger of pillowy ivory foam atop.
Smell: slightly toasty malt with a bit of a piney, herbal hop aroma. Not bad, but not super interesting.
Taste: sweetish malt with a piney, slightly citrusy hop character. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and okay creaminess.
Overall: not a perfect IPA, but not too bad either.

Honey-hued, with a thick white head of not quite Duvel quality, but perfectly respectable. Fresh hoppy aroma. The taste is good, straightforward hoppiness: refreshing and bitter. It’s more robust than the 6% ABV would lead one to expect. Creamy texture, with just the right amount of prickly carbonation. This is a fine IPA at an affordable price.
