Wild Tart Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale
Jūra is a farmhouse-style ale, 100% fermented and conditioned in French oak barrels with a Lithuanian yeast strain known as Jovaru and our house lactobacillus culture. This beer is crisp and dry while retaining a pleasant mouthfeel. Some phenolic character is present, giving light notes of pepper, lemon and clove. Slightly tart and gently bittered.
This beer is named after the river that flows through the agricultural region of Lithuania, where the Jovaru Farmhouse Brewery resides.
