Bottle at brewery:
Pours with a near medium haze and an amber color to the body. Quite effervescent, the head takes a slower pour to control. Sea foam sits atop the beer after settling.

Nose has a floral nature paired with some damp oak. As it warms, honey and red berry come out along with a savory herb I can’t place and some mint. Thing with the nose that seems odd to type, but it seems I can smell the carbonation - so maybe like a memory of a spiked soda. This fades and a darker honey note partially replaces it.

Light toast and oak is what comes forth as the beer is still chilled. A little tartness - red grape, cranberry, lime slowly evolve and integrate into the opening notes. The herbs from the nose are highly tamped in the taste, muddled into a generic form later in the taste.

Medium in heft with a fair level of carbonation to lift it a bit. The beer is definitely a bit more expressive when it has warmed. But it’s also nice to sip it as it evolves in its journey from cold to warm.
