Hazy, dirty gold color. Small, lasting head which leaves wide streaks of lacing throughout the tasting.
The smell starts with pale malt but this is quickly overwhelmed by an earthy hop. Some cardboard.
This is too harsh for a Pilsner. The hop attacks the palate like an IPA. The body and carbonation level are appropriate for the style. There’s no softness and the malt is nearly nonexistent. The finish is dry from the strong bitterness. Long aftertaste.
