Canned 2023/06/29
Pours a creamy dense 1.5 finger head with good retention, a bit of lacing, semi clear slight hazy copper to amber color
Nose a bit of sweet malt base, toasted and some caramel biscuity malts, quickly into hops, fruity base, stone fruit, citrus, some berry fruit as well, strawberry even, citrus and pine late
Taste starts again with some sweet malt, a good malt base, toasted biscuity, some caramel notes, then quickly into hops again, fruity hops with citrus and stone fruit, a touch of pine and some citrus zest, then into more berry fruits, strawberry and some other reddish berry-like fruit, mild dry finish, lighter bitterness up front, then med to slightly higher bitterness on the finish, a little sticky
mouth is med bod, med to higher frothy carb
Overall pretty solid APA, fruity strawberry and berry hops are interesting and not necessarily out of style but didn't seem to sit as well, bitterness and malt base were good though
