Rindby 13/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Åben’s usual pretty cool split label with some wobbling yellow questionmarks on black background.
Pours hazy, murky orange with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Settle as thin remnants of foam unable to cover much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong tart, citric odor. Sweet fermented fruity odor peeking in. Sour citrus. Tart berries. Oranges.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric and tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit austere. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Sour and zesty - but not much more.
