Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of pale malts, earthy bread malts, with a bit of toasted and charred bread underneath. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors of pale malts, earthy bread malt, some funky and slightly tart and fruity yeast off the finish. (3.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation, mildly sweet. (3.50)
Compared to New Glarus Two Women Lager 6/2023: Pours lighter, stronger head. Stronger aromas. More tart, earthy, funky yeast. Less crisp bread yeast and pale malt. Sweeter.
Overall: An okay Helles lager. Earthy malts, but a tart and funky yeast that seems like an off-flavor. Wouldn't pick this one up again. (Rating: 3.39)
It was a drain pour

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours straw yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of sweet grain, nice and bright. Tastes of sweet grain with slight bright fruitiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.
