Well I saw someone rated this beer for the first time today, so why not add the first review of said beer today as well? Substance, i has it. (Pets mini giraffe).
So right off the bat, this brewery in ruralish Wisconsin charges $8.50 per pint on a weekday. Brutal. I wanted to go to the Beer Shop next door anyways. But hey, this pours a pretty red/oktoberfest like color. Good clarity, 1/2" white head. Best thing the beer does. Served in a dimpled mug. The aroma hits those caramel/red malts that give the beer its appearance.
The taste has a mild festbier/oktoberfest/vienna lager fall leaves kind of vibe to it. More bitter and red ale feeling than I preferred. I'm still stuck on the huge price tag on a pint of this at the source. Its pretty mild but had a bigger twang portion than I wanted. I dug the beer name, I imagine they hear such a request every now and then. Its a relatively average beer at a premium price. $8.50 pint, I bought a 4 pack of Surly Niiice pints for $7 the next day. I don't see this model to be economically feasible in the long run.

Not my favorite style, but this is excellent.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
