On tap at brewery;
A dark brown beer that you can tell is clear with just a little light. Frothy head leaves spots and streak on the glass.
The nose is the only weird part here, with a slight ethyl-tinged spice note overshadowing the slightly nutty toasted malt. The oddity doesn’t really make it to the taste, which is brown sugar sprinkled on toasted bread, with a hint of nuttiness. Really soft feel, due to light perceived carbonation, which also seems to add a little richness to the experience.

1/29/23 On tap at Pies and Pints Morgantown WV.
Aroma is molasses, sweet tobacco, and clove.
Right off the bat, I got cigar smoke on the flavor, along with bubble gum, and again, sweet tobacco. Leaves an astringent sensation in the mouth.
Not terribly complex in the malt department.
Edit.... After warming up, this becomes much better. More depth in the malt. I had to change our rating!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
