In “style” this beer is more beer-like than milkshake, which is a good thing for me. Any sweetness lactose might provide is tamped underneath an interesting mix of sweet-tart from the guava and dry nuttiness from the coconut. The mix of these with whatever hops were involved yields a nice lemongrass, Sorachi Ace-esque vibe and I think that’s why it grabbed me more than a dissection can explain.
