Pours a deep-deep Amber Brown with just a bit of head. The aroma is sweet malt and earthiness. Flavor is sweet and malty up front with a bitter kick at the end. Candy and plums. Rounded out by a fairly heavy mouthfeel. This is a style I don't see often so I had to grab some to go!
