Imperial NEIPA Conditioned on Blueberries, Vanilla, & Milk Sugar
This tasty medium bodied brew is loaded with protein rich wheat and oats along with a touch of milk sugar to give it a super soft, pillowy mouthfeel. The hops were added post-boil and in the fermenter to lend their juicy, mixed berry and stone fruit aromas and flavors as opposed to hop bitterness. We conditioned this juicy beer on blueberries post fermentation for flavor and also to complement the intense hop aromatics and vanilla to enhance the creamy “milkshake-like” character. We get notes of fresh blueberries, creamy vanilla, oats, apricots, mixed berries, and blueberry pop tart filling.

Loved this beer as I picked it up last week in Union County. Haven't had many beers of this style lately but this almost makes the case that Milkshake IPA's should be place into a category of their own on here. Indeed, this was plenty sweet with a ton of berry and lactose in it, as this was completely enjoyable from the get-go!
No surprise that this poured like blueberries as that was the hue of this brew as a bubbly, off-magenta head topped this off and slowly settled down. Once that did, the lacing left behind was nearly nonexistent as only a few scattered, spotty bubbles lingered on the side of my pint glass. The look of the liquid was acetate as the aroma contained a ton of blueberry, vanilla, cream, and strudel in the nose as the taste was just as enticing and appealing. Very little hops could be felt as this felt like a dessert in liquid form, with some peach and subtle dankness underneath everything. Slick, a bit sticky, and full on the palate, the carbonation was moderate and complemented the flavor profile quite nicely.
There was a fair amount of alcohol in this but with so much else going on, that was undetectable in the taste and minimally felt as I took my last sips of this. Dated 5/4 (certainly wrong as I obtained this in April) with "DA BA DEE DA BADI" written underneath it, this was indeed blue in every sense of the word but depressing. Source brews fun beer that exemplify their respective styles nicely and this was another example of that in nearly every attribute. Go have some fun with this!

Can calls it Blueberry Cobbler Milkshake IPA, but the description is spot on, so this is it.
can to snifter.
murky yellow blue green purple orange color......which is like light brown. Lavender colored medium head. OK retention.
AROMA: nice blueberry and citrus with vanilla and cinnamon kicking in a touch later.
TASTE: blueberry and some malty sweetness dominate. lighter touches of cinnamon/vanilla show up. Tastes similar to , but not exactly ...Juicy melon, pineapple, mango dance around in background.
FEEL: super smooth. lactose works well with this one.
Could almost be the milk leftover from a bowl of Post Blueberry Morning.
