This hazy milkshake IPA pours a vibrant, mango-orange hue and is bursting with intense aromas of tropical hops, ripe mango, and creamy vanilla.
Restrained bitterness and heavy additions of malted wheat and oats in the mash give this brew a soft, rounded mouthfeel that flows into a super juicy finish.
Large back-end hop additions and a double-dose of dry-hopping provide this beer with intense hop aromas and flavors that resonate with the tropical mango and Madagascar vanilla.
We get notes of juicy mango chunks dripping in the tropical heat, creamy vanilla milkshake, tropical fruit smoothie, and orange creamsicle.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a hazy gold-yellow color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of mango and oranges. Taste is tangy orange with a slightly bitter finish. Smooth creamy.

This was another milkshake beer from Source that I highly anticipated and picked up recently at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge, as it didn't let me down. Plenty fruity and sweet, this was a bit one-dimensional as it tasted like juice or sherbet but in the end, this was another offering from Source that was enjoyably fun and short-lived once I poured it out!
No doubt that this had a mango hue to it as a massive whipped head topped it off. That settled relatively quickly as there wasn't any lacing left once that settled down. Loads of mango, creamsicle, vanilla, and milk sugar in the subdued nose as the taste was more pronounced while following suit. Plenty sticky, sweet, and a bit raw, this was plenty cloudy and felt like it should have been served in a cup with a little spoon. However, this had wheat and oats that gave it plenty of body and took the edge off of the sweetness, which was persistent but not overpowering.
As was the case with so many of Source's beers, I couldn't taste or feel the alcohol here as it would have been a piece of cake to crack open another can after finishing this. Dank hops lingered in the aftertaste as there were hints of swamp water and weed that softly lingered long after the fruit and sugar subsided. Dated 2/8 on the bottom of the can with 'THE LOVE FRUIT' written below it, this was a fun beer that left me wanting more, and looking for chunks of fruit at the bottom of my glass. Mango lovers - you've found your respite here!

Pours an orange/mango color, sudsy foam head that fizzles out like a coke. Has a very nice mango aroma. Flavor is overripe mango, quite sweet, hops are mildly spicy in the middle, clean, short finish. Light carbonation with an oily texture, thick like mango nectar. Overall a good fruited ipa, not very hoppy at all.

Mango Milkshake IPA
Decent but not a ton of lactose or mango; just a likely fruity IPA.
