We decided to participate in the Things We Don’t Say: Craft Beer For Mental Health project because we feel strongly that it’s important to raise awareness around the severity and prevalence of mental health issues.

We recognize that many, if not most, of us are fighting some sort of internal battle and we want to encourage everyone to open up and feel comfortable talking to others about improving their mental health situation instead of keeping silent.

We hope that the can label artwork and messaging behind this campaign organized by Eagle Park Brewing will help to spark a conversation and begin to normalize everyday discussions around mental health.

It’s OK to not be OK and ask for help.

A portion of the proceeds from this delicious, hazy, juicy IPA will go towards empowering the conversation on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education Hope For The Day

We get notes of juicy muskmelon, tropical papaya, underripe white strawberries, mango chunks, mixed berry granola parfait, ripe peaches, dried apricots, and a hint of fresh pine.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow straw, hazy with a small foamy head. Grassy, fruity aroma, citrusy notes. A bit more varied fruit in this one than others in the series, light sweetness.

16oz can into a pint glass. Freshness dating indecipherable, even with a magnifying glass.

Looks very good in the glass. Thick hazy orange juice colored body with a generous white head leaving scattered lacing.

Clean fruity aroma, mostly non citrus.

On tasting, fruity, smooth, juicy, no bitterness at all.

Mouth close to full, finish smooth and fruity.

Overall, fairly straightforward NE ipa. No flaws at all, juicy and fruity.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: The beer has light aromas of strawberries and peaches.
T: The taste follows the smell and is a bit stronger and has additional hints of stone fruit. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and juicy on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England style IPA is easy to drink but the aromas and flavors seem to be muted compared to others in this collaboration effort.
