Picked this up a few weeks back during my first run down to Source, as this sounded wonderful for this time of the year. Sure enough, that was the case as this was full of bright flavors, sunshine, and bursting hop flavors as this was an easy beer to fall in love with during these cool late summer nights!
The appearance to this was nice as it poured golden, somewhat hazy, bright, and full of fluffy head that nicely topped it off. Lots of tangerine, pine, and wheat in the tangy, outdoorsy nose as the taste was nicely balanced between those, the oats, and the tropical fruit pith and pineapple tang that kicked in as this warmed up. Incredibly smooth, slick, and reminiscent of the other beers that I've had from Source, this was a cross between a New England, American, and Belgian IPA with the best aspects of each present throughout.
I'm sure there was booze but with so much lovely goodness, hefty clean-cut forest in the aftertaste, and hints of gooseberry and orange blossom underneath everything else, you wouldn't even notice how enjoyable this was or how fast it went after pouring out. Dated on Bastille Day with "CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY" written underneath it, I loved this beer from start to finish. Leave room on your hard drive for this one!
