Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is hop floral with a hint of citrus. Taste is hop bitter and malt sweetness. A bit more bitter than sweet but tasty. Feel is very good soft, but not thin. Nice mouthfeel. Overall it's a tasty iPA that doesn't blow you away. Recommend.

Do you like Amarillo, or Citra? If so, you've found your match here as this only featured the former hop but would still appeal to anyone who enjoys beers with either of them in it!

Not a surprise that this had a hazy, golden hue to it with plenty of thick head topping the liquid off. Very little lacing remained outside of a thin and rocky ring near the center of my pint glass. Lots of earthy hops, deep citrus rind and orange blossom in the nose as the taste was quite inviting, full, and juicy. A bit of exotic tropical fruits and stickiness from the oats combined with a lively mouthfeel led this to be an easy sipper that was enjoyable from the get-go. Plenty slick and with just a bit of burn in the back, the wheat kept this lively as this was one of the more filling IPA's that I've had in quite some time.

As usual per Source, it was nearly impossible to pick out the the alcohol in here although I warmed up just a bit as I was finishing this off. Dated 11/23 with "AMARILLO SUNRISE" written on the bottom of the can, that fit in well with the label art and the beer itself as it felt like something I'd easily reach for on a sunny summer's day. I love what Source is doing and it would be interesting to give their other Ultra beers a go, to see how they feature specific hops. Grab this while reminiscing about warmer days of yore!
