Picked this up at Source a while ago as I don't review this style of beer on here very often. Thankfully, this was worth the effort to obtain as it was a great example of the style that was true to form and easy to drink. No, it wasn't strong in any aspect but it was fun and well-rounded, with more than enough flavor to hold it's own!
No surprise that this poured a translucent blonde gold with more than enough foam in it, that it burst forth as soon as I cracked the can open. A good amount of spotty lacing was left behind with a well-defined, but thin, ring on top of it all. Lemon, grass, grain, and Saaz were in the in the nose as the taste had some biscuit, light spice, and white grape in it as well. Balanced, light, and a bit sour, this was a bit cloying, moderately slick, and called for a chaser of water to fully get it down. A bit of skunk stayed around when I finished this off, but it was pleasing and made this feel imported.
That, it was not and it was also easy to crack another one open since I never felt or tasted the booze at any point during my session. Dated 1/18 with "CZECH IT OUT" written underneath it, this was an enjoyable brew and a welcome change from what I normally enjoy this time of the year. It won't win any awards but it could win someone over to the style, as these are a good a session beer as any when done right. Of course, Source always does with with whatever type of brew they attempt!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
