Love haze?
Then you'll love this haze.
Indeed, this was a lovely haze that had a lot to love about it. It was like many Imperial IPA's that had enough in common with New England IPA's as it was plenty soft, pillowy, and full of both fruit and body. It was a plus that this was a collaboration with Imprint as both breweries involved left their own imprint on this lovely brew!
Plenty golden and hazy, this had a enjoyable pour to it as it was subtly radiant and topped off with enough offsetting head, although the lacing left behind was nearly nonexistent. Only a thin ring remained near the top of my pint glass with a few dots lingering below that. Tons of lime, gooseberry, dank and exotic hops, and stone fruit in the nose as the taste had plenty of turbid hops, peach, white melon, and jack fruit from start to finish. A bit unfamiliar but reassuring throughout, there was a lot to like there as this was nicely balanced, carbonated enough, and smooth because of it's dry-hopped nature.
This was plenty strong, although I only felt a bit of warming near the end of my session as the alcohol was never a deterrent on my palate. Canned on 6/21 with "FOR LOVELY DAZE" written below it, this was certainly lovely and a bit trippy, just like the label on the can. Thankfully, this was another quality brew by Source that was so much fun to drink while making me more accustomed to hops that I didn't see every day. Lots to like here as this was worth tripping out with!
