can to snifter.

LOOK: hazy, creamy, straw yellow. big creamy white head. good retention.
AROMA: a touch of perfume and wheaty - grassy hops; plus some peach, cantaloupe, pineapple.
TASTE: lots of tropical and citrus notes. creamed pineapple, touch of coconut? very light grass, some ginger. Wow, this thing has some layers to it.

FEEL:
super thick and creamy. max body for IPA.

Absolute monster triple. not sure if it's that good, or really enjoying a good beer after a long rough day of work. Very nice surprise.

I'm not accustomed to Source brewing something of this potency but like the few other beers that I've had from them that were this strong, this didn't feel anywhere near as hefty as it's listed ABV%. This felt and drank more like a typical IPA from them and if you're into something that's juicy, well-rounded, and instantly enjoyable, then you have your match here - if you know that you're not going to be behind the wheel afterwards!

Golden, muted, and subtly radiant, this beer had plenty of head topping it off as it quietly settled and left behind a few soapy rings near the top of my glass once I sipped it. Tons of peach, candied sugar and key lime were in the nose as the taste had enough fruit pith, exotic hops, and an subtle hint of booze underneath everything. Some dank forest and weed emerged as this warmed up as the hops gave this a nice underlying dankness that tied everything in together but this wasn't terribly slick or sticky since the wheat and malts were more than enough to keep this full and keep the hops in check.

The carbonation was light as this could have used a tad more bubbles, but the end result was still something that wasn't acrid nor cloying in the aftertaste. Canned on 8/2 with "SEEING TRIPLE" underneath it, this never felt like an Imperial IPA as I could have easily had another upon finishing this off...had the alcohol not kicked in beforehand. Sneakily good, this was strong but dry-hopped enough to not initially seemed that way. Here's to more of these down the road from Source!
