Picked this up either in Fanwood or Garwood late last year, as this was something from Source that I wasn't able to obtain directly from the brewery. Love this style when it's done right, as was the case with this. Clean, crisp, and soft, this was easy to enjoy with a mellow flavor profile that was sure to offend no one!
No surprise that this poured clear and looked like straw as there was plenty of suds to top this off. Most of the lacing left behind was concentrated in the middle of my glass, in the form of a few thick and wavering lines of thick rings. Puffed rice and grain were barely discernible in the nose as they were much more prominent in the taste. Straw, grain, and a light floral undertone emerged once this fully warmed up as this was nicely slick on the palate without the hops interfering. Only a bit of the Lemondrop stuck around in the back although this never made me pucker as it easily deserved another go-around.
I'm sure there was booze in here somewhere but you'd have to down quite a few of these to feel it. Dated 11/1 on the bottom of the can with "BLOOM BLOOM" written underneath that, this was really enjoyable and on par with the fitting artwork that Source has come to be known for. While it took me a while to get around to this, this was a perfect brew for these warming days!
