Picked this up last year down at Source as it took a while for me to finish out and review on here. Loved the other milkshake-themed beers that I've had from them, although this didn't have a Jersey shore theme or feel to it. Thankfully, it was plenty sweet, true to it's description, and easy to enjoy from start to finish!
Golden and opaque, this had a ton of sediment floating in it although that's my fault for taking a while to get around to this. Enough head topped this off although that quickly settled as there wasn't any lacing left behind. Tons of apple and milk sugar were on the sweet and fruity nose with the taste having some lactose, vanilla, and cream to round this out. Malty like a milkshake, this straddled the line between summer favorite and fall offering nicely as the hint of cinnamon tied in everything together nicely. Along with the lack of spice and recessed alcoholic presence, this drew me in quickly and held on - down to the sticky and cloying finish and aftertaste.
Amazingly, I barely felt the alcohol in this as this did *not* feel like a fermented beverage. Canned on 9/26 of last year with "AN APPLE A DAY..." written below it, this would be the end result if a bunch of apples from Battleview took a joyride down to the boardwalk. Enjoy this for the fun factor as this would be a perfect beer to have as summer slowly gives way to fall...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
