This was another beer that I picked up late last year, as I think I got it in Fanwood or Garwood. Missed watching the World Cup but with something this enjoyable, who's to notice? Light, refreshing, and bubbly, this would have been perfect to watch soccer with as the alcoholic presence was well-hidden and the taste was bright enough to keep up with the action!
The pour to this was very muddled pink grapefruit as it had a small and thick salmon head that topped this off. Only a frosted sheen was left on my glass as there wasn't any lacing to be seen. Lots of tangerine, blood orange and light tartness on the nose as some heavy cherry, tangy citrus, and soda were on the palate. Refreshing, slick, and moderately sour, this was easy to drink without being overly tangy or acidic as the body was felt more in the back than during my time drinking this.
Lots of fruit punch and some fruitcake were in the back as it was nearly impossible to detect the alcohol in this. Canned on 11/18 with "GO USA!" written underneath it, this was fitting as it was a summer beer with a fall release - much like the World Cup last year. Loved the label as like this brew, was on offering with what I've come to expect from Source!
