This was the last beer in an order that I picked up at Source late last year. Loved the label and the description of this beer but for some reason, it never really clicked with me. Like all of their offerings, this was nicely crafted and easy to enjoy but in the end, it was too sweet and tart for me to rate any higher on here.

The look of this beer was pure mango juice as it was quite opaque and topped off with plenty of a moderate amount of spongy head. Once that completely settled down, the lacing followed suit as it was nowhere to be seen. A good amount of mango, artificial citrus, and dank pineapple were in the nose as there was much of the latter on the palate. That went along with a ton of lemon zest, tartness, yeast, and soda as this was highly carbonated and quite slick once the initial kick subsided. Hard to pick out the hops here with so much else going on, as this didn't feel much like an IPA.

I only say that because it did once the alcohol kicked in, which was near the end of my time with this. Dated 11/29 on the bottom of the can with "FRUIT" written underneath it, this was full of that although it was just a bit too sour for my likeness. No regrets buying this but it's not something I'd reach for again, unless I couldn't find any SweeTart's or Sunny D around the house...
