This was another beer from Source that I picked up late last year, as I never had it before.n Love their Sours and this was another lovely well that complemented the holidays well, in addition to being enjoyable any time of the year, as it was easygoing and plenty fruity for a nice spring day!
Quite an odd look to this as it looked like tart berry that was cloudy, bubbly, and muted. Lots of loud head topped this off as it quickly and loudly settled down. Not much lacing remained as a spotty sheen remained on my glass as I worked my way through this. Loads of strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, and icing in the nose as the taste was just as fruity, tart, and sweet from start to finish. Lots of body to this thanks to the presence of wheat and oats, as this felt like a fruitcake minus the overt stickiness and artificial sugar. The cacao nibs, frosting, and vanilla came through in the aftertaste, as they were on par with the amount of alcohol present.
This felt a tad stronger than it was in actuality as the cream cheese and chocolate lent themselves to a cheesecake treat aftertaste that made this feel like a full-bodied dessert. Canned on 12/13 with "JINGLE JANGLE" written underneath it, this was a Christmas gift that kept on giving long after the holidays were over. So much to like here if the time was taken to properly savor this!
