This was another beer that I picked up from Source early this year, as I never had it before. Loved the description of this beer and indeed, if you're a fan of El Dorado then you won't be disappointed in this enjoyable offering that was full of it!
Just like it's description on the can, this was naturally unfiltered and easily looked the part as the golden hue was extremely cloudy and uniform in appearance when held up to the light. Enough fluffy head topped this off to contrast nicely with the turbid liquid, although it fully settled down and didn't leave any lacing behind. Peach, stone fruit, watermelon, and some dewy forest were in the nose as the taste was equally dank and sweet - if such a thing was possible! Nicely slick, full in body, and moderately carbonated, there was a nice amount of jolly rancher stickiness throughout as that also stayed around a bit in the aftertaste. Some fruit rind and deep lime pith also lingered as this nearly needed a chaser of water to get it down, or another can full of this goodness...
This was plenty strong but never fully quite felt the part, although I could feel the alcohol on my breath as I was finishing this off. Canned on 1/10 with "JUICE" written underneath it, this was like sweet juice that was fermented and smoothly hopped from start to finish. A bit of dark sediment had to be swirled out from the bottom of my glass but otherwise, I enjoyed this beer as it was another solid offering from these guys!
