Picked this up at Source last year, as it took a while for me to get around to. I've enjoyed nearly all of their offerings that I've had and this one was on par with those, since it contained plenty of fruit, a hidden alcoholic presence, and nice balance that held its over after all of this time!
This had quite a varied array of hops in it although, it was readily apparent in the pour. Sure, this was a hazy goldenrod with plenty of head topping it off that was more than sufficient and took its time to settle. Thin rings remained near the top as there were scattered splotches the rest of the way down the side of my pint glass. Lots of and wheat in the nose, with key lime, strawberry, stone fruit, and candied citrus under that as the dank, heavy, and piecing flavors were a bit more apparent in the taste. Really amazed that the balance was kept here, with the lively carbonation helping to keep all the flavors in check. Cloying up front and slick in the back, this did take off once the base established itself although it was just a tad heavy when all was said and done...
Canned on 2/7 of last year with "SLIP THE SURLY BONDS" written below it, this had a lovely label and an equally enjoyable flavor profile that was just dank, sticky, and sweet enough to have me wanting another. Just wish the brewery was a bit closer to home!
