Picked this up at Source last year, as it took a while for me to get around to. This came in a mixed 4-pack as this was hyped as being full of fruit. From pour on, that was the case with this as it felt like fermented fruit juice rather than an actual beer. That's not to take anything away from this, but it just made it all the most unusual and appealing to me!

Thick, cloudy, and dark, this looked like blueberry and boysenberry juice from the moment it came out of the can. Lots of lighter head beautifully topped this off as it took forever to settle down. Tons of leopard-spotted lacing and a few well-defined rings lingered once I sipped this, as I had to take my time to savor this brew. Lots of blueberry, blackberry, strawberry patch, and mild funk were in the understated nose, as the pie crust, tartness, and sour undertone emerged on the palate. Juicy and nearly without carbonation, this was thick enough to feel like the seeds were still in it although that wasn't the case! The pie crust in the beer's description was found in the body as this was plenty weighty and filling!

Hard to detect the booze in this as it would have been almost *too* easy to crack open another and pace myself through it. Dated 2/17 with "GUAVAS ARE BERRIES" written underneath it, I didn't taste much of that as it lent itself to this brew's mouthfeel more than anything else. Lots of fun to be had here if you're into this sort of offering!
