Just had this after cracking open the Berry Guava, which came along with this in a mixed 4-pack. Oddly enough, I really couldn't detect the banana in this, although that was mostly because there was so much going on here. Like the guava, this was quite heavy in thickness, full of fruit, and low in carbonation as this did feel like fermented juice in a beer can!

Sure enough, this had a murky, solid appearance to it as it was much darker than banana and indicative of the mixed berry presence. Lots of deep, spongy head topped this off although the lacing left behind was not as extensive as I would have liked. A sheet of fine spots was interrupted the rings of where I sipped it, as the liquid almost looked like it had fine seeds in it. Those weren't seeds but that was a clue that once again, the fruit and fruit patch would be dominant from the aroma onward. That had strawberry, banana, yogurt, sourness, and wild berries as some blueberry, blackberry, currant, and booziness emerged on the palate. Pie crust crunch and sweetness stuck around in the aftertaste, as this left me wondering where the banana fit into the picture.

More of that, and a few more bubbles, would have been welcome though thankfully, this aged nicely during the time it took me to get around to it. Also dated 2/17 of last year with "BANANAS ARE BERRIES 2" written below it, this would please anyone who loves this style of beer or smoothies in general. Props to Source for having fun with this!
