5 years? Where did the time go? I've been going to Source for nearly all of that span and they've quickly become one of my favorite breweries here in New Jersey. Of course, when this came I out, I had to give it a go and for the most part it was worthy of being an anniversary beer!
Not surprisingly, this had a cloudy appearance to it as it was a cross between orange and pineapple juice in hue. A good amount of dank hops, peach, nectarine, apricot, sweet citrus and tropical fruit, and booze in the mellow nose as the taste closely followed suit. Some fruit cocktail entered the fray once this fully warmed up as this was plenty slick and mildly turbid. A hint of swamp water and exotic fruit could be felt in the back as all of the hops entered the fray at some point!
To be fair, this was plenty strong but felt a tad weaker than its listed ABV%, thankfully. All of the fruit flavors and carbonation had a hand in that although this was still an Imperial IPA at heart. Caned on 7/30 with "CHEERS TO 5 YEARS" written below that, this would easily please any of Source's fans, such as myself!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
