Where did the time go?
If you're like me, you spent much of it enjoy lovely brews such as this, as many of those I've had in that span have come from this brewery. I love them and their location and thankfully, this was on par with my expectations!
No, it wasn't a birthday cake beer like the last few, but it was a lovely Imperial IPA that didn't come across as strong as listed. A nice hazy peach hue and perfectly even-head was a harbinger of how pleasant this was, as there was only one thick and well-defined ring of lacing near the top of my pint glass. Loads of peach, apricot were on the nose as the taste picked up where those left off. Citrus zest, white peach, candied sugar, a hint of white grape, and all three hops were on the palate as this was varied, well-rounded, and incredibly smooth. Sticky sweetness stuck around in the aftertaste as the carbonation was light and the booze present, but only in the buzz that I felt once I finished this off.
Canned on the 29th of last month with "6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY" written beneath that, this was a lovely brew that had a lot going on, with everything meshing well in the end. One of these would be enough to celebrate with, even though it would be somewhat easy to quaff a few in a sitting, Here's to 6 more years of wonderful offerings from these guys, and lazy summer evenings at the back of their farmhouse...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
