Surprising big pile of foam in the IPA glass. Settles to a cloudy yellowish. Nose of melon ad something fruity. Very sharp, hot like knives in the mouth, and acidic. This one seems to take it to extremes that Modern Times would have to admire.
Pleasant fruit to start, followed by the descent into throat-rasping astringency. Undrinkably harsh, but so in line with the style. This is exactly like what must be dozens of hazy IPAs I"ve had the last couple of years. I don't get it. From the 16 oz can purchased from Bine & Vine. Not dated.

Harland has made a few bangers (not exactly Babe Ruth status, but more so Wily Mo Pena hitting a bomb after eating a torta), so I expected this one to be a goodie. And...? Meh. The Nelson is there, but so is a little rotted grass and astringency. No, Raul does not want his beers sponsored by Windex.
I’m outta here.
