Named for the hard-working men and women who make the world's best tugs, right here in the Boothbay area. A heavy stout that starts with a robust chocolate flavor and leaves the palate with a bit of coffee.

Pours black, with a cola halo. A tall khaki head slowly falls from 2" to form a thick blanket, leaving a curtain of lace on the Harp nonic glass.
Awhile mild, there are sharp alcohol fumes before the charred roast has a chance to make itself known. Baker's chocolate and anise are a nice touch. Unfortunately, this is all rather mild.
Like the aroma, the flavors are mild. Mild sweetness, mild bitterness, mild astringency, just add "mild" to each of the following: roast, sourness (like milk chocolate), powdered chocolate. The finish if drawn out, with baker's chocolate, and yep, mild. Warmth is unfriendly.
It has a light body and watery texture. Alcohol is here, punching below its weight, one might say, "mild." Soft carbonation.
This is an ok beer. Indeed, I would call it mildly ok.
